This 4 page paintable lesson letter features a completed painting of a bicycle I saw in front of a restaurant when I was strolling through the harbor town of Honfleur, France on an unusually sunny spring day. I snapped a picture of the bike, amused by the flower pots that sat on top of the board suspended between the bike’s seat and handlebars.

Inspired by this wacky bike photo, I decided to create a painting of it with some changes. I sketched several different versions of the bike image until I found a composition and paint colors I liked.

If you purchase this letter, you can follow my painting process to create your own version of the wacky bike in Honfleur. And I’d love to see what you create - please feel free to share your work with me! Thank you!

Once you purchase the lesson you will go to a download page where you can download the letter pdf file. A secure download link will be sent to your email as well. If you don’t see the email in a few minutes check your spam file. Email me if you have any problems accessing your download.
